Upon arriving in the NT, we went on an early morning 3.5 hour stomp around the
Olga’s, which were amazing and awesome.
Ayers Rock was impressive as well but we were all stomped out so just paid a passing visit. We ended up staying the night at Kings Canyon Resort, enjoying showers and a bistro dinner and live music about Grandpa’s Automatic Chicken Feeder.

In the morning, we stomped around the Rim Walk at King’s Canyon. Completed it
in 3.5 hours, which did include a lot of climbing around rocks at one of the
lookouts. It begins with a very steep staircase climb, but then the rest of it
is a walk around the rim with lovely views.
We also investigated a crater caused by, depending on which
story you believe, a meteorite crashing to earth 3.5 million years ago; or, the
child of the Morning Star and Evening Star crashing to earth in the Dreamtime.
It looked like an ordinary hill range, then I realised that we were actually inside it.
